The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) processed 5,307,517 commercial trucks into Canada in 2024, as well as 3,588,120 air shipments, 1,963,455 marine containers and 1,899,664 rail cars.

The Federal Agency also assessed approximately $40 billion in duties and taxes (Customs duties, Special Import Measures Act duties, GST and Excise taxes).

In administering the Special Import Measures Act, the CBSA collected over $270 million in anti-dumping and countervailing duties.

The CBSA also processed 93,440,697 travelers (Air: 37,485,710; Highway: 52,235,933 (including 5,820,628 truck drivers); Marine: 3,448,456 and Rail: 270,508)
